CHOICE OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR 2015-2016
The Rowland Unified School District will be accepting applications for CHOICE Open Enrollment within the district for the 2015-16 school year from families that live within the Rowland Unified School District. You can pick up a Choice Open Enrollment form from a school site or from Pupil Services, located at 1928 S. Nogales Street, Rowland Heights. Phone is (626)935-8203.
IMPORTANT DATES:
January 16, 2015
Last day to turn in Choice Open Enrollment Applications to Pupil Services by 4:00 p.m.
February 20, 2015
Parents will be notified by mail of the outcome of their Choice Open Enrollment Application.
April 7, 2015
Parents may start to contact the school of choice to receive the enrollment/registration packet and procedures.
April 30, 2015
Last day for parent to turn in all enrollment/registration forms to the school of choice.
Choice Open Enrollment is forfeited if parent fails to submit all required documentation by this date.
ONLY if you wish for your child to attend another school within the Rowland District must you complete the required CHOICE Open Enrollment Application. Do not fill out a CHOICE Open Enrollment Application if your child will continue to attend his or her school of residence in the 2015-16 school year.
Sibling(s) interested in attending the same school of choice as their sibling who was accepted thru the Choice Open Enrollment program, must submit a CHOICE Open Enrollment Application. Remember to write the name of the child already attending the School of Choice. Placement of the sibling(s) is pending space availability.
Transportation: Transportation to a school of choice is the responsibility of the parent.
